A story about the music of friendship. This book turns upside down our ideas about who we want to live with, why, and what it means to be a friend—one who might even sting. All of this is written in verse, with melody and fresh humor. And Yassen Grigorov spins our imagination as he follows the flight of the mosquito!

SWEET PET MOSQUITO
There was a mosquito who lived in a pet shop. Did he believe he could be a pet? Oh yes!
It was only bad salesmanship that stopped him from finding an owner. So he went on a
quest for one. Mosquitos are best if you need a bloodthirsty, ferocious animal to guard you. Or if you need a nanny to sing lullabies to your baby.
Or… hm, why didn’t it go well?
And when the mosquito meets someone, could it really go wrong because of one single mistake?
Can the melody of friendship be sustained even if you go off tune? And turn into a real symphony for a mosquito and an orchestra?
